How and When Does AI Predict the Invoice Posting Month?

To get the AI to predict the invoice posting month (invoice date differing from the invoice date) or months (posting dates, i.e., splitting the invoice over multiple months) for a specific customer, proceed as follows:

• When you change the invoice date in the FabricAI portal
  • you simultaneously activate predictions for the invoice date for the respective supplier's invoice
    • additionally, if you have set posting dates for any of the respective customer's invoices in the FabricAI portal in the last 13 months
      • by changing the invoice date, you simultaneously activate predictions for posting dates for the respective supplier 
• If you change/set posting dates on the invoice in the FabricAI portal
  • you activate predictions for both the invoice date and posting dates for the respective supplier's invoices
    • NOTE! If you use Hausvise, FabricAI does not predict posting dates, as they are not currently supported in the FabricAI-Hausvise integration

The AI predicts posting months based on both previous postings and the content of the invoice. The most significant factor is the content of the invoice.

AI predicts postings, i.e., postings divided over multiple months, only when the invoice total exceeds 1000 euros. If you wish, this limit can be lowered for a specific customer by contacting tuki@fabricai.fi. 

By default, the AI never predicts a one-month posting (posting dates, e.g., 1.-31.1.), but there is one exception that was updated to production on 7.1.2025:

• IF the AI is predicting the invoice date to the following month from the invoice date BUT the invoice due date is in the same month as the invoice date
• THEN the AI does not predict the invoice date but gives the mentioned "month posting" for this mentioned invoice date month
