User and team management

With FabricAI portal's user and team management, your organization can independently determine who has access to which client information. Management is done from the Users and Teams menus found under the Organization tab.

Organization admin rights

User and team management is visible only to those who have organization admin rights in FabricAI.

If you see the "Users" and "Teams" sections on the Organization tab, you have admin rights.

If the menus are not visible, you can request rights from another admin in your organization.

Granting rights to others: As an organization admin, you can also grant admin-level rights to other users.

User management

In the Users menu, you can manage the people in your organization and their access to the system.

Adding a new user: Use the "New user" button to create credentials. At the same time, you can determine whether to grant admin rights to the user.

Editing and deleting user information: By clicking on a user's name, you can see more information. You can delete unnecessary users with the "Delete user" button, which opens from behind the "three dots".

Search: If your organization has many users, you can use the search function to find a specific person.

Team management

Teams are used to determine which users have access to which client's information. Teams can be utilized, for example, by office location or client responsibilities.

Team structure: You can create one large team for everyone or divide users and clients into several smaller teams.

Creating a new team: You can establish new teams and add both users and clients to them.

Replacing old teams: If you want to rename teams (e.g., replace the automatically created "UI" or "All" team), first create a new team and transfer the information there before deleting the old team. This ensures that no one loses access to clients during the process.

FabricAI's recommendation for team structure:

We recommend that a client belongs to only one team, but users can belong to several different teams. This is important for the accuracy of FabricAI's team-specific analytics and reporting.
