Rounding differences / Check total / differences under one euro
From 28.6.2022 onwards, the final total of invoices rising from the accounting program to FabricAI will always be read as the total that was recorded in the accounting program. If you notice that this final total is incorrect, it is advisable to remove the invoice and process it in the accounting program, as the actual final total of the invoice cannot be changed through FabricAI. (NOTE! In some systems, such as Procountor, only the accounting voucher is edited in FabricAI, so the aforementioned removal of the invoice may not be relevant.)
If you notice the accounting program's own "rounding difference" line or FabricAI's "check total" line on the invoice and it is a difference of less than 1 euro, but the gross total of the invoice is correct, we recommend leaving that line unedited. These lines are mainly due to software technical reasons. In such cases of differences under one euro, the lines are always automatically adjusted to the final total of the invoice when the invoice is returned from FabricAI to the accounting program.

What if you edit the total to be under one euro for an existing line?
FabricAI does allow changing the final total of the invoice from an accounting perspective to be under one euro in FabricAI. NOTE! This does not change the payable final total of the invoice.
If you accidentally/intentionally add such a difference under one euro (compared to the final total of the invoice) as part of any accounting line, this will always form its own reconciliation line from FabricAI to the accounting program. NOTE! However, there are some differences specific to accounting programs:
In Fivaldi, Netvisor, and Fennoa, FabricAI forms a "rounding difference" line to the account of the largest monetary line of the invoice, initially so that the VAT is 0. However, if all lines on the invoice have another VAT percentage, the rounding difference line will also follow this VAT.
Procountor, on the other hand, handles rounding with its own logic to the "Reconciliation differences" account, and FabricAI has no influence over this.
For Hausvise customers, FabricAI does not allow editing the totals of the lines. Read more about Hausvise-specific handling here.
